West Fork Water Utility Under Boil Order Until Further Notice

Water Main Break in Fayetteville causes West Fork Water Utility to issue a boil water advisory.
Due to a water main break, West Fork Water Utility advises customers to boil their drinking water.
This advisory is for all customers on the West Fork Water Utility system.
Customers should:
- Fill a pot with
- Heat the water until bubbles come quickly from the bottom of the pot to the
- Keep heating the water for one more
- Turn off the heat source and let the water
- Pour water into a clean, sanitized container with a cover for
Customers should use boiled water that has cooled or bottled water for:
- Drinking
- Brushing teeth
- Washing fruits and vegetables
- Preparing food and baby formula
- Making ice
- Giving to pets
The West Fork Water Utility’s water is supplied by the City of Fayetteville Water. Fayetteville had a main water break and was forced to issue a boil order. Fayetteville’s boil order forces West Fork Water Utility to issue a boil order for our customers. We will issue another press release as soon as the boil order is lifted.
This boil water advisory is a precaution. To limit risk, customers should follow the instructions contained in this release.
This boil water advisory is in effect until West Fork Water Utility, Fayetteville Water Utility and the Arkansas Department of Health determine the situation is corrected. Customers will be notified immediately when the advisory is lifted.
